Powell Joinery are regarded as one of Yorkshire’s premier manufacturers of quality architectural joinery.

The team have extensive experience working in conservation areas and on listed buildings, replicating items for a like-for-like replacement. Alternatively, we can create traditional styles using modern components to meet planning or conservation consent.

We manufacture to meet Part Q certification for new builds.

I found Powell Joinery by looking on the web for a stair manufacturer. This approach gives little sense of the quality of a company but as soon as I met Nat I had a clear sense that this man knew what he was talking about and had a passion for his subject and the quality of his work. He gave great attention to detail in the planning and was prepared to put a huge amount of time and effort into making sure that what he said he could deliver, he did deliver!
Great service and quality products! The team at Powell are friendly, knowledgeable and very supportive. They have made all our wooden windows and bi-fold doors, as well as 2 bespoke oak entrance doors. They are exceptional quality and look fantastic. They have also made our new oak staircase with glass panels and it looks stunning. Their follow up service is reliable and the overall craftsmanship is outstanding.
We were looking to reinstate some of the sash windows that had been taken out on the rear of our property. Powell Joinery were extremely helpful in establishing costs for different materials/ double glazing options and also ensuring that the new windows were the best match possible to the original timber sash windows on the front of the property. We are delighted with the end product, the quality of the paint finish and the attention to detail.
